Corporate Treasury in Acquisitions and Mergers


When a Corporate is involved in an acquisition – large or small, or a merger, it is an opportunity to use the best from both parties.

These are also difficult times for everyone involved, and it is often beneficial to be able to call on an impartial organisation which can understand both merger parties and help integrate the treasury functions as quickly and efficiently as possible. This may include changing banks and bank accounts, treasury systems integration, and the development of new policies, controls and procedures.

Where small acquisitions have been made, a different approach is needed to integrate the new company into a group. This will include changing banking accounts and systems, and the introduction of consistent controls and procedures.
